Deep Tide TechFlow News, June 11th, according to an announcement on the OpenAI official website, OpenAI announced it will acquire the security cloud execution and orchestration technology company Ona to expand its Codex ecosystem. Codex currently has over 5 million active users weekly, a 400% increase since the beginning of the year. Ona has served 2 million developers, and its client-controlled execution model allows AI agents to operate continuously within an organization’s private cloud environment, meeting enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements. After the acquisition is completed, the Ona team will join OpenAI to assist in expanding Codex to more enterprise-level production workflows.
