According to Reuters, Polish President Karol Nawrocki issued a statement announcing the third veto of a bill aimed at regulating cryptocurrencies and implementing the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), citing that his previously proposed amendments were not fully incorporated. The Polish parliament had passed the bill in May of this year, at a time when the scandal involving the collapse of Poland's largest cryptocurrency exchange was intensifying, and fierce debates were taking place over the regulation of this emerging industry. Under EU regulations, Poland must approve and implement the MiCA regulation by July.
