Mars Finance reports that the Office of the District Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued an announcement stating that Ruslan Igorevich Tkachuk and Alexander Vladimirovich Ledenev were arrested for allegedly operating a cryptocurrency money laundering service using Audi A6. Since the service was launched in 2021, it has received a total of approximately 10,333 bitcoins, with transaction values totaling more than $389 million. At least $19.234 million worth of bitcoins directly came from illegal sources such as dark web markets and ransomware groups. A coordinated international law enforcement operation has seized and frozen the Audi A6 servers, domain names, and Telegram accounts.
