Meta has completed the operational separation from Manus and has ceased data sharing between the two companies.

Gold Financial News reports that on June 11th, Meta Platforms Inc. completed its operational separation from Manus and ceased data sharing between the two companies. According to sources familiar with the matter, Facebook and Instagram's parent company Meta has effectively established a firewall between itself and the Chinese company Manus. The sources said that since the beginning of this month, Meta has prohibited Manus and its employees from accessing the internal data systems of this American company. The sources also stated that as a result, Meta employees can no longer use Manus's tools for internal projects. Due to the involvement of internal decisions, these sources requested anonymity.
An internal memo shows that Meta is gradually winding down Manus's business. The memo indicates that employees have been told to migrate existing Manus projects to Meta's systems and to refrain from developing new work on the AI platform. The sources said that these measures aimed at separating the operations of the two companies mark another step forward in the final divestment of Manus.
