KKR Group, the Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA, and Vestra have jointly established the Helix Digital Infrastructure Company, a new venture aimed at providing supporting infrastructure for large artificial intelligence cloud service providers. KKR said on Thursday that Helix will “coordinate to meet the various needs of large cloud service providers in data centers, power, network connectivity, and related fields.” The company has already secured long-term funding commitments of more than $10 billion. After the founding round of funding is in place, Helix will continue to attract other institutional investors. NVIDIA will help deploy infrastructure compatible with its DSX AI factory, while the energy company Vestra will be responsible for power supply. (Sina Finance)
