The European Central Bank raises interest rates for the first time in nearly three years

Golden Finance reports that on June 11, the European Central Bank raised the deposit facility rate from 2.00% to 2.25%, marking the first rate hike in nearly three years, in line with market expectations. The main refinancing rate and the marginal lending rate were raised to 2.40% and 2.65%, respectively.
