Institution-level privacy blockchain Canton Network developer Digital Asset announces completion of a $355 million new funding round. This round was led by a16z crypto, with participation from subsidiaries of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Apollo Funds, BNP Paribas, Citadel Securities, CME Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, HSBC, S&P Global, SBI Group, and SoFi, among many other DeFi and TradFi giants. The new funds will be used to accelerate strategic partnerships, pursue mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and assist partners in building on-chain businesses. (TheBlock)
