Today (the 8th), Phase I of the Huanghe Tunnel on Aerospace Avenue in Jinan, Shandong, achieved dual-line connection.
On the morning of the 8th, as the "Zhengcheng" ultra-large diameter shield machine precisely reached the reception point, Phase I of the Huanghe Tunnel on Aerospace Avenue in Jinan achieved dual-line connection.
It is understood that the total length of Phase I of the tunnel is 3,888 meters, adopting a standard of a two-way six-lane urban main road, with a design speed of 60 km/h.
Due to the Jinan section of the Yellow River being a typical "suspended river on the ground," the daily water level is 4 to 5 meters above the urban surface, with complex geology and extremely high water pressure, making construction conditions very harsh.
Gou Changchun, project manager of Section 2 of the Phase I of the Huanghe Tunnel on Aerospace Avenue, China Communications Tunnel Bureau, said: "Innovative application of refined cutting pressure control, increased settlement monitoring, and other complete technologies have effectively solved problems such as machine jamming caused by calcareous nodules and difficult control of ground disturbance."
