Someone said: Hong Kong people are really stupid, living in a pigeon cage of just a few dozen square meters,

a family of three turning around is a hassle. Sell this house, go back to Mainland China and get a 200-square-meter large flat, isn’t that appealing?
To be honest, I used to think the same way. Later I realized, they are guarding their status.
Hong Kong people are unwilling to leave because of these five invisible trump cards behind:
First: The median salary in Hong Kong is 20k HKD, even washing dishes and sweeping floors earn over 10k HKD+
Second: Hospitalization in public hospitals in Hong Kong costs 300 HKD per day, including meals, medicine, and surgery—all covered. Poor elderly people get it for free. Dare you get sick? In Hong Kong, they really dare!
Third: Apply to world-renowned universities at will. For Mainland China’s Tsinghua, Peking University, and Fudan, the cutoff scores are shockingly low. While your kid is still cramming, they are already choosing between Oxford and Tsinghua.
Fourth: Visa-free access to 170 countries, able to study or work abroad at will.
Fifth: Hong Kong has strict food safety regulations. Problematic food is directly subject to criminal liability. You can buy milk powder and medicine with your eyes closed, no worries.
Stop saying Hong Kong people don’t know how to enjoy life. Many friends from Mainland China are eager to get a Hong Kong identity. Aren’t you tempted?
