Although the overall performance of U.S. technology stocks remains resilient, the cryptocurrency market continues to struggle with weakness. Quinn Thompson, Chief Investment Officer at Lekker Capital, stated that Bitcoin is flashing warning signals repeatedly, and as summer approaches, his fund team holds a bearish outlook on the future of cryptocurrencies.

Thompson analyzed that the cryptocurrency market is facing a series of structural headwinds: firstly, the persistent concerns over digital asset reserve companies; secondly, unresolved issues surrounding Strategy preferred stock STRC; and thirdly, fears of quantum computing threats to Bitcoin security, which continue to ferment in the market.

Amid these intertwined factors, combined with heavy market selling pressure and deteriorating liquidity conditions, Bitcoin's performance has lagged far behind that of technology stocks, resulting in the most severe "decoupling" phenomenon in recent years.
