Raydium responded that its Legacy AMM V3 program, which was decommissioned in 2021, was attacked, resulting in the theft of approximately 150k RAY, 5,603 SOL, and 890,000 USDC, with losses totaling about 1.34 million USD. The Raydium treasury will fully compensate for the related losses. Raydium stated that the incident was caused by the program not sufficiently verifying the LP Token Mint address. The attacker bypassed the liquidity ratio check mechanism by creating a new Mint to carry out the attack. Only the deprecated Legacy AMM V3 liquidity pools were affected. The current Raydium mainnet program, SDK, and DApp are unaffected. The project team is conducting a security review of all mainnet programs.
