I've been trading on Gate for nearly three years, starting with a few hundred dollars to trade futures, and now I only do spot trading and low-leverage swing trading. The biggest change isn't the numbers in my account, but my understanding of the market.

When I first started, I always thought the market was full of opportunities, constantly looking for new coins and doing short-term trades, but the result was being repeatedly liquidated, losing half of my capital.
Later, I realized that the easiest mistake in trading is overestimating your abilities and underestimating the market risks.
Now, I only trade on Gate what I understand, and I won't touch anything I don't understand, no matter how much it rises.
And I will never trade with more money than I can afford to lose.
Many newcomers jump straight into high-leverage futures, dreaming of getting rich overnight, but often they end up losing everything in a night.
My advice to beginners is to start with small amounts in spot trading, get familiar with market fluctuations, establish your trading discipline, and then gradually try higher-risk assets.
The market never lacks opportunities; what it lacks are those who can survive.
For me, Gate is not just a trading platform but also a place to share trading experiences with everyone.
I also hope that in this new market cycle, we can stay rational, respect the market, and go further together with everyone at Gate. #我的Gate交易时刻
