Is the market's expected CPI a bit too high?

I notice that every time this kind of data misses expectations and is uncontrollable, a market forecast far beyond a reasonable range will come out.
By the time the data is released, a lower-than-expected result is often achieved, giving a good impression...
But in reality, the CPI is still rebounding, yet the market becomes less sensitive...
It feels a bit like playing hard to get, retreating to advance strategy 😂
