Mars Finance News, June 10 — The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued the “Implementation Opinions on the Innovative Development of ‘Artificial Intelligence + Information and Communications’ (2026–2028).” It states that the initiative will empower vertical industries to improve quality and upgrade.

Focusing on the “intelligent transformation, digitization, networking” needs of industries such as raw materials, electronic information, and equipment manufacturing, the plan calls for building new industrial networks, accelerating the widespread adoption of industrial internet applications, and establishing a multi-tier, systematic industrial internet platform ecosystem. It will cultivate a group of industrial AI agents (industrial agents) and advance integrated development of “network solutions + industry large-model” comprehensive informatization services. It will also speed up large-scale rollout of applications such as 5G/fiber networks + smart transportation, equipment intelligent inspection, and industrial vision inspection.

It will promote offering packaged, modular “network + artificial intelligence” services to small and medium-sized enterprises to meet their individualized needs. It will further drive intelligent development of innovative industrial clusters and accelerate the building of “smart clusters.” (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website)
