SpaceX IPO, why I choose to subscribe actively
Amidst the market controversy over SpaceX's trillion-dollar valuation, I choose to participate with a rational and proactive mindset in this grand capital feast of the era. This is not a speculative frenzy following the trend, but a bet on long-term trends and an acknowledgment of human exploration spirit.
1. Seeing beyond the bubble, more importantly seeing the certainty of the stars and the sea
Indeed, there are debates about SpaceX's valuation, with risks such as losses, competition, and governance repeatedly mentioned. But when we step out of the noise of short-term fluctuations, we find that this company has already built an unshakable industry barrier: the monopoly position of Falcon 9 rockets, explosive growth of global Starlink users, the leading technology of deep space exploration represented by Starship... These are not vague stories, but facts that have already landed and are continuously creating value.
We have witnessed countless "overvalued" tech giants, ultimately proving the market's shortsightedness through long-term growth. As a pioneer in commercial spaceflight, SpaceX's ceiling has never been just its current revenue scale, but the infinite possibilities of the human space economy, global communications, and interstellar exploration. Instead of obsessing over short-term stock price fluctuations, it is more important to see the endgame of the track — SpaceX is not competing with peers, but defining a whole new era.
2. Rationally assessing risks, avoiding blind fanaticism, and not being overly pessimistic
Active subscription does not mean blindly throwing all in. I am soberly aware that high growth inevitably comes with high volatility; the frenzy on IPO day and the shocks after listing are normal market phenomena. I will not participate with funds beyond my capacity, nor will I let short-term rises and falls influence my judgment.
This enthusiasm is based on a full understanding of risks: I know that SpaceX will continue to invest in R&D in the short term, and profits may fall short of expectations; I also understand the uncertainties of competition and regulation, which may cause stock price fluctuations. But these risks filter out speculators only interested in short-term gains, and allow genuine long-term value investors to accompany the company's growth with a more composed mindset.
3. Not just investing, but participating in a journey to change the world
For me, participating in SpaceX's IPO is not just a financial investment, but a small way to participate in the progress of human civilization. From reusable rockets reducing space exploration costs, to Starlink bringing internet connectivity to remote areas, and Starship paving the way for Mars colonization, what SpaceX is doing is beyond what many dare to imagine.
I may not be able to personally participate in space endeavors, but I can support explorers who dare to look up at the stars and challenge limits in this way. When someday in the future, Starlink signals cover more corners, and humans set foot on Mars, I can proudly say I was part of this journey, witnessing how a company turns dreams into reality.
4. Long-termism is the best mindset to cope with volatility
Capital markets have always been a collection of short-term noise, with fluctuations and bullish or bearish sentiments being normal. But for a company like SpaceX, short-term valuation disputes and stock price swings are just ripples on a long journey of growth.
I choose to participate with a long-term mindset, not fussing over the first-day gains or anxious about short-term corrections. I believe that as long as SpaceX's core competitiveness remains and the track's long-term trend does not change, time will ultimately reward those who invest in true value. #Gate直通IPO认购SpaceX
