CryptoWorld News reports that on June 9, local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that the IDF ground forces crossed the Litani River that day and continued conducting military operations in southern Lebanon. On the same day, the IDF Chief of Staff, Zamir, said that the IDF would increase the scale of its attacks against Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. On that day, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli airstrikes against towns in southern Lebanon caused dozens of deaths and injuries. Hezbollah issued multiple statements saying that its armed personnel attacked multiple Israeli military targets.
