The U.S. President signs an executive order on artificial intelligence model review

U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on June 2nd to strengthen the review of artificial intelligence models. According to information from the White House website, the executive order requires AI companies to provide the federal government with access to the model for up to 30 days before release. According to U.S. sources, the executive order was originally scheduled to be signed last month and initially allowed the U.S. government to access certain models for up to 90 days before release. After industry lobbying, the review period was shortened to 30 days. Under this executive order, the requirements related to AI models are non-mandatory, and relevant companies participate voluntarily. (CCTV News)
