Reports say a new wave of US strikes on Iran has begun after CENTCOM confirmed earlier strikes started around 5 PM ET under Trump’s direct order. Axios reported the move followed Iran shooting down a US Army Apache near the Strait of Hormuz, with both crew members rescued. Explosions have also been reported around Iranian coastal areas.
