For the vast majority of Chinese people, from the very moment we are born

What awaits us is an extremely tragic life.
Starting from elementary school, we have to begin endless involution; by high school—the most precious stage of life—we still need to be in class at 6 and get out at 11.
There’s no love or dreams in youth—only endless studying and cram schooling.
When we start working, are we liberated?
No—we have to begin yet another endless cycle of overtime. Going to work at 9 in the morning and leaving at 9 at night has become a luxury.
Besides that, we also have to shoulder sky-high housing prices; most people can only afford a place after saving for three or four decades without eating or drinking.
As we get older, we still have to deal with the pressure of raising children—sharing the burden of childcare—while facing a pension and healthcare system that barely exists at all.
In this whole extremely tragic life, what is the only advantage?
That you can make use of cheaper people in China, cheaper delivery riders, couriers, and Didi drivers.
