When I first entered the circle, I always mistakenly thought that to make money, I had to seize every market trend. After years of accumulation, I finally understood: consistent profit is never achieved through frequent trading; catching one or two major trends accurately each year is enough to far surpass most people's returns.
The root cause of most people's losses is never a lack of opportunities, but rather the desire to make money every day. When the market has slight fluctuations, they impulsively enter; when there's a trend, they heavily leverage and go all-in, ending up exhausted physically and mentally, and their accounts gradually deplete. In crypto trading, patience is far more important than technical skills.
After understanding the market rules, I summarized a set of trading insights based on news: if good news doesn't continue, a big gap-up the next day is usually an exit opportunity. Many narrative-driven coins, like ADA, are in the anticipation phase of a rally; once the news is out, they often start to adjust. For high-heat targets like MANTRA, the peak of popularity is often the most volatile and riskiest moment.
Therefore, before major news releases or holidays, I always reduce my positions in advance, or even go completely flat and wait on the sidelines. Once the market direction becomes clear, I re-enter at the right opportunity.
I also have a clear trading rhythm: for medium to long-term, I stick to light, phased position building, avoiding full positions at once; for short-term trading, I focus on decisive entries and clean exits, retreating immediately if the trend is wrong, and cutting losses promptly if I make a wrong judgment. All big losses and liquidations start from the false hope of “waiting a bit longer.”
Now, my trading system has become increasingly simple, using only 15-minute candlesticks combined with basic indicators to control the rhythm. Crypto market volatility is extreme, and those who can stand the test of time are never reckless gamblers, but calm-minded people who maintain their rhythm and know when to hold or fold.
I only do real trading, not virtual. If you want to stay grounded, avoid pitfalls, and steadily profit, don’t try to navigate the crypto world alone in the dark. Keep up with the rhythm.
