The power of capital is terrifying! Yushu humanoid robots partnered with NVIDIA, stirring up a hornet's nest, not only facing backlash from netizens domestically but also potentially being restricted in the United States.
Yushu is known as a national treasure, the most impressive domestic humanoid robot company, and has been booming in the past two years. Recently, their financial reports haven't been very ideal, with profits declining compared to before, but they still quickly went public, about to be listed and traded.
Behind the scenes, the capital backing is truly formidable. Before going public, they announced a partnership with NVIDIA. Initially, they thought this wave of hype would drive investors crazy, and after listing, they could heavily speculate to facilitate their cash-out. But unexpectedly, this move might backfire and harm themselves.
Netizens believe that collaborating with NVIDIA makes the company uncontrollable and soulless, and in extreme situations, there could be safety issues.
They haven't gained favor domestically, and internationally they might also face containment. The partnership announcement was only 48 hours ago, and the U.S. House of Representatives proposed the GUARD Act, explicitly naming Yushu Technology, requiring Chinese humanoid robots to undergo federal security reviews. If they fail, they will be permanently banned from entering the U.S.; if the review isn't completed within a year, they will be automatically blacklisted.
Yushu is facing cold treatment despite their efforts, which is a thankless task. Now they've offended both domestic and foreign parties. It might have been better not to partner with NVIDIA at all.
All of this is to make way for capital. I believe they are definitely considering other plans and will surely work to hype up Yushu. #分享美股交易赢英伟达股票
