I think SOL will truly be a good investment going into the next bull market

There are several proposals to improve tokenomics:
SIMD-550
— Double the disinflation rate, to cut over $1 billion in emissions
SIMD-553
— Would burn at a base case 2,850 SOL ($200K) per day, $73M per year at a minimum. Higher activity onchain, much bigger burns.
Solana is not complacent like Ethereum was.
It actually has the distribution, it is technically superior and it has several verticals where it is growing consistently.
It lacks perps, and I won't say it will flip Hyperliquid as that seems incredibly difficult to imagine today, but even if it gets to 30% of HL's open interest, it will already be great.
This is because Solana is a broad ecosystem, it doesn't need to be the best at everything but it needs to capture a lot of each market.
It is a big one, but IF we are able to pass the token improvement proposals + rwas growth continues + defi recovers + AI finds a home here + Perps become a valuable part of Solana and crypto...I think you not regret holding solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112
Questions:
— A big part of this thesis depends on the SIMDs passing. The market is undeniably looking for great tokenomics and it is unforgiving.
— This doesn't mean you should be buying now. I think we are still due more downside in crypto so you may get much better prices over the summer.
— Will SOL outperform HYPE? I have no idea, but I lean towards a no, that can change if context changes.
— Will it get to new ATHs? Difficult to answer. I think you shouldn't care about trying to make new ATHs. Even if you bought now and sold at $200 it would be insane ROI.
SOL-6.09%
HYPE-11.84%
ETH-9.6%
