ME News Report, May 17 (UTC+8), Curve founder Michael Egorov expressed doubts about a governance proposal from Fluid. The proposal plans to transfer fGHO and iETHv2 positions from the protocol treasury to the team multi-signature account to settle bad debts remaining after the Resolv protocol's de-pegging. Aerodrome community members pointed out that this move could affect depositors' risk exposure. The Fluid team responded that this is a normal technical operation to unify the settlement of debts related to the Resolv protocol, with no change in total assets, and all steps are within the governance framework. In March this year, the Resolv protocol was hacked, maliciously minting approximately $80 million in unsecured USR stablecoins, causing liquidity issues. Fluid was exposed to about $21 million in bad debt. (Source: MLion)
