I'm currently feeling conflicted with an L2 mindset: the mainnet gas fees are painfully high, but I also feel uneasy about putting all my money on the second layer. The compromise is basically—small daily transactions on L2, and when I need to store long-term or do large transactions, I endure the mainnet fee once; yes, it's more expensive, but at least I can sleep peacefully.

Recently, a few cross-chain bridge incidents completely killed my "want to save trouble" idea... Honestly, I’d rather spend a bit more gas than risk that one time. And after the oracle price feeds went haywire, everyone was shouting "wait for confirmation," and I could only wait along with them. The interface kept refreshing/retrying, queuing up until I doubted my life, but it's still better than chasing bugs after the fact. Let’s leave it at that for now; a little slower is okay.
