ME News Report, April 19 (UTC+8), etherFi posted on X platform stating that its Liquid vault is temporarily not directly exposed to the Kelp rsETH event risk, but as a precaution, the weETH and eETH LayerZero cross-chain bridge functions have been suspended until the root cause of the Kelp rsETH incident is clarified. Meanwhile, for Liquid (ETH, BTC, USD), sETHFI, and eBTC products, the relevant Teller contracts have been paused to block the LayerZero OFT bridging path, and deposit and withdrawal functions for related assets have also been suspended. They are currently working closely with security partners and will provide timely updates once more details are confirmed. (Source: ODAILY)

Wait for more details; anything said now is just guesswork. Official updates take precedence.

It's good that the Liquid vault isn't directly exposed, but what's the deal with this LayerZero pitfall?

The deposits and withdrawals for sETHFI and eBTC have both been halted, and users who hold them feel a bit uncomfortable.

The Teller contract has also been halted. It seems this time the impact is quite significant. We'll wait for further updates.

etherFi's operation is good; proactive suspension is much better than firefighting afterward.

Reacting quickly, pausing the bridging is the right move; it's more stable to investigate the root cause before resuming.
