EigenCloud Founder: The team members have restored 80% of Google's unpublished quantum results through AI Agents

ME AI Message, EigenCloud founder Sreeram Kannan tweeted that his team’s two students restored about 80% of Google's unreleased quantum breakthrough results over the weekend using an AI Agent. One undergraduate, Gautham Anant, made approximately twice the improvements to existing quantum cryptography circuits, while 18-year-old researcher Gajesh further enhanced the results to 80% of Google's unreleased findings through a custom Agent cluster. The achievement targets elliptic curve point addition circuits, which are one of the core operations in Shor’s algorithm used to crack ECDSA (the signature scheme used by assets like Bitcoin). Meanwhile, Sreeram Kannan announced the launch of the first public challenge, the Quantum ECC Addition Challenge, inviting more people and their Agents to participate in optimization. Future plans include collaborating with Stanford University’s Dan Boneh, Ethereum Foundation’s Justin Drake, and others to launch more open challenges in the field of mathematics. Previously, Google’s Quantum AI team demonstrated that elliptic curve cryptography can be broken with significantly fewer resources than expected, and confirmed the results through zero-knowledge proofs, though the specific algorithms have not been disclosed.
