$PI Daily charts need to rise well, and weekly and monthly trends must be good regardless of the asset. This is a conclusion I’ve drawn from many years and countless cases. So now, the weekly and monthly trends of π coin still show signs of upward movement in May, but from the current perspective, they still need to go down, so shorting on rallies is your only way to save yourselves.

The ups and downs depend on money, but more importantly, it’s the logic behind those moves—that part is extremely hard to figure out. Take yesterday’s A-shares, for example: 166 stocks hit the daily limit. Even though the overall market was bad, most stocks still had a chance. If a stock’s rise yesterday was less than five percent, then either it had already run up too much earlier, or it’s a weak stock. In normal circumstances, it should have risen by at least around three percent. Don’t assume that big funds and institutions are idiots.

Some coins will fall slightly when the broader market drops, and rise more when the broader market goes up, because there is capital coming in to take the orders. These are the kinds of assets that follow an upward trend: since there are fewer people selling than buying, the selling pressure is lighter, so they naturally go up.

So, judging from the K-line of May 31, the resistance above is still relatively significant. That means it will inevitably keep trying to find a bottom. If it’s strong, it would have gone straight up on June 1.

Going long only when it’s strong, and going short only when it’s weak—only by following the trend can you avoid losing too badly.

All the gains made on May 31 have now been wiped out today, which shows that the downward trend makes it unreasonable to go long.

Those funds don’t go in to drive up the coin’s price—that’s something I mentioned earlier. They go in to drive up the price, for the purpose of shorting.
