Crypto World News reports that many A-share companies are entering the solid-state transformer (SST) track. Under the catalysis of artificial intelligence computing power and electricity demand, SST technology is quietly becoming the new hotspot in the field of electrical equipment. Journalists have noticed that several listed companies have recently announced their entry into the SST track. SST, as a kind of medium-high voltage direct-hung power electronic device, differs from traditional power frequency transformers' electromagnetic induction path. It uses power semiconductor devices to directly build a high-frequency "power direct pass bridge" between the medium-voltage side and the low-voltage DC side. This architecture eliminates bulky power frequency transformers, multi-stage rectifiers, and filtering devices, condensing complex power transformation processes into a compact form. Since the beginning of this year, the ongoing boom of artificial intelligence data centers (AIDC) has propelled the highly integrated power electronic solution SST to the forefront.
