I feel that neither group messages nor KOLs should be the ones to cover the bill, but in the end, the hand that pays is still your own—don’t pretend you’re innocent… What I’m more wary of now is the illusion that “higher information density means greater opportunities.” The more I scroll, the hotter my head gets.

At least with KOLs, you know they’re expressing their stance. What’s more dangerous is in the groups: dozens of people saying “We’re about to take off” will push you onto the train. But when you look at the actual trades, they’re all just lifting each other’s image, and the address retention is pretty average. The recent “matryoshka” setup of re-staking, shared security, and stacked yields has been criticized as “nested/stacked-tomfoolery,” but I actually think that criticism is pretty normal: every layer of profit you hear about may correspond to a layer of liquidity tightness and the difficulty of exiting. Anyway, I’m just watching real fills now and whether there are newly on-chain “people willing to stay”—if not, no matter how lively things get, I’ll cool down first.
