These days, watching DAO proposal votes feels a bit like observing a neighborhood homeowners' association committee... On the surface, it's "for a faster ecosystem," but the real focus is on incentive distribution and permission switches. Many proposals are written quite lively, but what I care more about are the signals: who can change the rules, who can move the money, who has a veto at key points, and whether after voting it all returns to a few people's decision-making.

Layer 2 is also arguing over TPS, fees, and subsidies—basically different ways of attracting users. Subsidies are obviously attractive, but if the power structure isn't well thought out, it might end up being "once subsidies are given out, the door is closed." I'm now voting more passively, not chasing the hype; I want to see clearly who holds the keys first.
