Lately I've been looking at a bunch of PFP and membership projects, to be honest most of them are selling a sense of "identity," with long-term value relying on continuously providing you with rights/services later on, otherwise it can easily turn into a fleeting moment of attention, lively but then gone. Especially now with testnet incentives and points systems raising everyone's expectations, everyone is guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens, and the community atmosphere feels more like waiting for a lottery draw... I might be tempted too, but I care more whether it can truly integrate with the ecosystem, L2/DA infrastructure, rather than just relying on airdrop expectations to hold it up.

What I fear most isn't losing money, but losing control—buying in and realizing you're actually chasing emotions, with your time and attention being pulled along, and in the end, you can't even clearly say why you're holding. Anyway, I now prefer to go slow: membership rights that can be migrated, combined, and used continuously are more like a "brand," otherwise just treat it as a one-time ticket.
