Trump Says Any Iran Deal Must Be “Great” Or There Will Be No Deal

President Donald Trump said the potential agreement being negotiated with Iran has not been finalized and is already facing criticism from Democrats, Republican establishment figures, and political opponents.
Trump stated that any future agreement with Iran would either be a “great and meaningful deal” or there would be no deal at all.
Trump also strongly rejected comparisons to the Obama era JCPOA nuclear agreement, calling it a “disaster” that created a pathway for Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
• Trump says the deal is still under negotiation
• He rejects any arrangement similar to the JCPOA
• The administration insists Iran cannot retain a path to nuclear weapons
• Political criticism around the negotiations is intensifying in Washington
