Just went through the Pi kyc verification process and figured I'd share what I learned since a lot of people seem confused about it.

Basically, KYC is how Pi Network confirms you're actually you before they let you move your mined coins around. It's pretty straightforward but there are some things worth knowing.

First thing - you gotta wait for the invite. Pi doesn't open KYC to everyone at once, they do it in waves. You'll get a notification in the app when it's your turn. If you're not seeing it yet, just keep checking that Mainnet Checklist section.

Once you get selected, you need to grab the Pi KYC app. You'll find it through Pi Browser (Google Play or App Store), log in with your account, and open the KYC app from there.

Now for the actual verification part. You'll need a valid government ID - could be your CNIC, passport, driver's license, whatever. Make sure the name matches exactly what's on your Pi account and the ID isn't expired or all beat up.

The process itself is pretty simple. You enter your full legal name, add your date of birth, country, and ID number. Then you upload clear photos of both sides of your ID - no glare, no blur, keep it clean. After that comes the facial recognition bit. Take a live selfie with your phone camera, follow their prompts like looking left and right, and make sure you're somewhere with decent lighting.

Double-check everything before hitting submit because once you do, it goes through both AI and human verification. The whole thing can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple days. You'll get notified in the app when you're approved.

Once that pi kyc verification goes through, your mined Pi becomes eligible for Mainnet transfer, which is the whole point. Pretty important step if you want to actually do anything with your coins.
