$HYPE
HYPE ETFs Drained $22M in One Week. Ethereum Got Left Behind.
Two spot Hyperliquid #ETFs launched. Seven days. $22.3 million in net inflows. On five of six trading days, they pulled more capital than every Ethereum ETF combined. This is not a fluke. This is capital voting.
🔹 The Products
21Shares' THYP hit Nasdaq on May 12. Bitwise's BHYP followed on NYSE May 15. Both stake. THYP charges 0.30%. BHYP charges 0.34%, waived on the first $500 million. Volume grew 8x from day one to day five. Bloomberg called the ramp "a really good sign of organic interest."
🔹 The Revenue Engine
Hyperliquid captures 43% of all on-chain fees weekly. That is more than Ethereum and Solana combined. Nearly all of it routes to token buybacks. The protocol processes $4 trillion in cumulative volume. The ETF demand sits on top of a fee machine that already burns tokens daily.
🔹 The Flow Comparison
Market-cap-adjusted, Hyperliquid ETFs beat Bitcoin ETFs on three of six days. They beat Ethereum ETFs on five of six. Tuesday's session alone brought $11 million, the strongest single day of any altcoin ETF launched this year.
The ETFs bought 2.5 times more HYPE than the protocol's own buyback mechanism burned in the same period. Institutional demand is now the dominant source of buying pressure.
🔹 Who Is Watching
Goldman Sachs disclosed a fresh Hyperliquid stake in its Q1 2026 filing. VanEck and Grayscale have filed for their own products. Bitwise committed 10% of BHYP fees to accumulating more HYPE on its balance sheet. Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan called HYPE undervalued, arguing the market is pricing a derivatives exchange when it should be pricing a global super-app.
Bottom Line
Two ETFs. $22.3 million. Seven days. Ethereum beaten five times. Revenue engine running at 43% of all on-chain fees. Buybacks accelerating. Goldman positioned. More filings coming. The on-chain derivatives giant just got an institutional tap, and capital is answering.
Friends, is Hyperliquid's ETF-driven rally sustainable, or does the $60 resistance level cap this momentum?
