May was full of ups and downs. Some chased highs, some missed moves — but those who stayed disciplined found opportunities. Here's my real trading recap for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Internet Computer (ICP) this month.
Bitcoin: The Anchor & The Signal
BTC tested key supports multiple times in May. I added positions in batches near $67,000.
**Strategy: No top-guessing, just trend-following.**
I took partial profits near $71,500 in mid-May and kept long-term spots. With lower volatility, selling options delivered steady returns.
Ethereum: Hype Is Brewing
The ETH/BTC pair bottomed and rebounded in May. My trades focused on two catalysts:
1) Spot ETF approval expectations
2) Reviving ecosystem activity
When gas fell below 15 gwei, I started small DCA into ETH. On-chain data shows whale addresses accumulating steadily — a signal worth watching.
Solana: Fast-Paced Range Plays
Solana was erratic in May — frequent wicks but still the most liquid alt.
My approach: Limit orders at support levels to catch wicks, take-profit orders at resistance. No mid-term conviction here — purely short-term mean reversion.
