I spent some time testing ways to mine Bitcoin on a free PC and thought it would be cool to share what I discovered with you. I started with Awesome Miner, which is very simple—download, install on Windows or Linux, and start mining. It’s been around since 2014, and people use it both on a small and large scale.
Then I tried BetterHash, which has the motto "put your PC to work." It only runs on Windows but mines various types, including BTC and ETH. The cool thing is that it automatically chooses the most profitable option at the moment, so you don’t have to think about it.
StormGain is another one I recommend if you want to mine Bitcoin on a free PC smoothly. It promises not to consume much energy and can also be used on a smartphone. It’s available in Portuguese, which makes it much easier for us here in Brazil.
I also tested CryptoTab, which works as a browser and mines while you browse. It has versions for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. The referral system multiplies earnings, which is interesting.
Kryptex is a Windows app that pays for your computer’s capacity. According to them, you can earn about R$520 per month with a simple PC. Automatic installation and ready to go.
PEGAPool is interesting if you want to mine Bitcoin on a free PC just with your phone. Download it from the Play Store, click, and start mining ETH. They say it can yield up to 0.01 ETH per day.
MinerGate is also worth it—it works on various systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS), and the software automatically selects the most advantageous coin based on your device.
There’s also ECOS, which focuses on Bitcoin and offers cloud mining, but this one isn’t completely free. And EarnCrypto, where you earn cryptocurrencies by doing simple tasks like watching ads and answering surveys.
But hey, important: stay alert for scams. Always check the legitimacy of the tools, their history, and what security measures they use to protect your data. There are many scams out there offering free Bitcoin but trying to steal personal information. Be careful!
