Apple App Store removes counterfeit Ledger Live app
ME News Report, April 16 (UTC+8), Apple has confirmed that after on-chain investigations showed that more than 50 victims had a total loss of $9.5 million in cryptocurrency within a week, the company has removed a fraudulent app impersonating Ledger Live, which was a self-custody wallet, from the App Store. Previously, on-chain detective ZachXBT revealed that this fake Ledger Live app was listed between April 7 and April 13, 2026. The losses involved multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and Ripple. (Source: ChainCatcher)
