Do you think RWA is more of a concept than reality? DTCC doesn't think so.
ethereum:0xfaba6f8e4a5e8ab82f62fe7c39859fa577269be3 Yesterday's high was $0.48, up 80.7% in a month.
Prices surged sharply, but what I care more about is the detail behind it.
In early May, DTCC formed a tokenized assets working group, with BlackRock and Goldman Sachs involved.
ONDO is the only native crypto project selected.
This isn't something ONDO boasted about; it's DTCC, the clearing and settlement infrastructure for the entire US capital market, explicitly invited.
Institutions aren't fools—they value compliance, low costs, and high-efficiency settlement.
ONDO fits perfectly at this node, and long-term, its position is very stable.
Many people previously thought RWA was more narrative than substance, with TVL stacking high, but on-chain activity always felt like self-congratulation.
Until a few days ago, when Ondo's tokenized asset DEX hit a daily trading volume of $74.73 million, approaching March's historical peak.
This isn't just expectation; it's real on-chain trading volume supporting it.
The total on-chain RWA market size has now exceeded $20 billion.
BlackRock just submitted a new on-chain fund document the day before yesterday.
The pace of TradFi entering has shifted from storytelling to real action.
In July, DTCC's tokenized assets limited trading is set to go live.
My view on this timing is simple:
It's not crypto knocking on #TradFi's door;
it's TradFi opening the door itself, casually bringing in a native crypto project to help build the pipeline.
Such opportunities haven't appeared many times in crypto history.
Of course, volatility can come at any time.
I won't tell you to go all-in; ethereum:0xfaba6f8e4a5e8ab82f62fe7c39859fa577269be3 has already risen 80% from its lows.
Chasing highs comes with its costs.
But what I care more about is: if DTCC really goes live in July and on-chain settlement volume starts to run,
will ONDO shift from being a "RWA token" to a "compliance asset settlement infrastructure"?
The valuation logic for these two positions is completely different.
Right now, I see #RWA more as laying out infrastructure rather than short-term speculation for a price surge.
Are you now entering on a dip to position yourself for the July catalyst, or waiting until the volume picks up after DTCC goes live to jump in?
