You know Elon Musk is pretty involved with crypto, right? Well, I found out the guy has a pretty interesting portfolio. It all started in 2021, when Tesla put $1.5 billion into Bitcoin. Musk sees BTC as digital gold, and to this day he still confirms he has Bitcoin in his wallet, even though Tesla sold most of it.
But what I found most curious is that he’s also into Ethereum. He revealed that at a conference in 2021. ETH is at $2.33K now, and Musk understands that the smart contracts of this crypto are the foundation of everything that’s happening in DeFi and NFTs. It makes sense for him to bet on that.
Now, Dogecoin? That’s his favorite thing, for real. He doesn’t hide anything—he calls it “the people’s crypto,” and so on. DOGE is trading at $0.11, and Musk has always promoted it for Tesla and SpaceX to use. The guy likes the meme vibe, but he also believes in the payment potential because of the low fees.
There’s also speculation about Shiba Inu and Floki Inu, but he denies owning SHIB. Floki was named after his dog, but it hasn’t been confirmed that he owns it. Anyway, Elon and crypto is always an interesting story to follow.
