The grayscale DeFi fund adds ENA and removes AERO, with ETH holdings once again taking the top position
Golden Finance reports that on May 7th, Grayscale completed a rebalancing of its cryptocurrency industry fund.
The DeFi fund allocated to Ethena token ENA, with a weight of 13.59%, becoming the fund’s fourth-largest holding.
At the same time, the fund completely removed Aerodrome Finance token AERO.
After the rebalancing, the main holdings of the fund include: Uniswap (UNI) accounting for 35.22%, Aave (AAVE) at 21.36%, Ondo Finance (ONDO) at 19.83%, Curve DAO (CRV) at 5.27%, and Lido DAO (LDO) at 4.73%.
Additionally, the smart contract platform fund did not increase or decrease assets this quarter.
Ethereum (ETH) holding weight increased to 30.14%, surpassing Solana (SOL)'s 29.69% to become the largest holding.
Cardano (ADA) ranks third with a weight of 17.96%, followed by Avalanche, Hedera, and Sui.
This adjustment was mainly based on the methodology of the CoinDesk DeFi Select Index and CoinDesk Smart Contract Platform Select Cap Index, aiming to ensure the fund’s holdings align with liquidity, custody, and market cap requirements.
