The grayscale DeFi fund adds ENA and removes AERO, with ETH holdings once again taking the top position

BlockBeats News, May 7 — The rebalancing of the cryptocurrency industry fund for Q1 2026 has been completed.
The DeFi fund has allocated into Ethena token ENA, with a weight of 13.59%, becoming the fund’s fourth-largest holding.
At the same time, the fund has completely removed Aerodrome Finance token AERO.
After the rebalancing, the main holdings of the fund include: Uniswap (UNI) at 35.22%, Aave (AAVE) at 21.36%, Ondo Finance (ONDO) at 19.83%, Curve DAO (CRV) at 5.27%, and Lido DAO (LDO) at 4.73%.

Additionally, the smart contract platform fund did not increase or decrease assets this quarter.
Ethereum (ETH) holding weight rose to 30.14%, surpassing Solana (SOL)’s 29.69% to become the largest holding.
Cardano (ADA) ranks third with a weight of 17.96%, followed by Avalanche, Hedera, and Sui.
This adjustment was mainly based on the methodology of the CoinDesk DeFi Select Index and the CoinDesk Smart Contract Platform Select Cap Index, aiming to ensure the fund’s holdings align with liquidity, custody, and market cap requirements.
