Since mid-November 2025, U.S. spot XRP ETFs have accumulated roughly $1.27–$1.44 billion in net inflows, making XRP the second-fastest crypto ETF to cross the billion-dollar milestone after Bitcoin. April 2026 marked a key acceleration phase, bringing in about $66M–$84M in a single month and reversing earlier outflows, showing renewed institutional participation.
This inflow trend is more important than short-term price movement because it represents structural demand. ETF-based buying consistently removes XRP from open circulation, creating a gradual supply absorption effect. Over time, this builds a stronger liquidity base and reduces the impact of speculative selling pressure.
Another notable shift is how XRP has behaved relative to the broader crypto market. Even during periods when Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs experienced outflows or price weakness, XRP continued to attract inflows. This suggests it is being treated differently by institutional allocators, increasingly viewed as a regulated, utility-linked digital asset rather than a purely speculative token.
On-chain and wallet data also shows parallel accumulation, with millions of XRP moving into long-term storage wallets. This creates a dual demand structure where ETF inflows and private accumulation reinforce each other, improving overall market stability.
However, price action has not fully reflected this inflow strength. Despite strong institutional demand, XRP has still seen downside pressure from earlier distribution zones. This indicates that ETF inflows are currently acting more as a stabilizing force rather than an immediate price catalyst.
The key factor moving forward is whether sustained inflows can continue while supply pressure gradually weakens. If this balance shifts in favor of demand, XRP could enter a stronger expansion phase once major resistance levels are tested.
