The task platform has been making waves again these days, claiming to be “participating in the ecosystem,” which basically means clocking in: signing in, inviting people, filling out forms, taking screenshots, and finally being startled by the witch rules. The scoring system is even more outrageous, clearly meant for some kind of subsidy, but it feels like a performance review. A slight mistake in chain selection can deduct points, which totally ruins your mood.

You also have to keep an eye on staking unlocks, token unlock calendars, and the group is constantly throwing anxiety about selling pressure, like a broken record. Meanwhile, you’re running the process for a few points, but the unlocks just send your emotions back to square one. Anyway, I now think about how to exit before I even enter; if I can withdraw with one click, I’ll play, if not, I just pretend I didn’t see it.

What I fear most isn’t slowness, but chaos: if it’s slow, I can still follow the plan; if it’s chaotic, all that’s left is to shoot from the hip and chase others’ emotions. Let’s leave it at that for now.
