ME News Update, April 14 (UTC+8), the Ethereum Foundation announced on X platform the launch of the “Ethereum Audit Subsidy Program,” in collaboration with multiple auditing and infrastructure organizations to provide security audit fee subsidies for developers, aiming to enhance the overall security of the ecosystem. The program is led by EF’s “Trillion Dollar Security Initiative” and is implemented in partnership with Nethermind, Chainlink Labs, and Areta, among others, to evaluate and review applicant projects. The Ethereum Foundation stated that while security audits are considered industry best practices, they are costly; this initiative aims to lower the development barrier and support more innovative use cases and projects within the Ethereum ecosystem.
