ME News, April 14 (UTC+8): On X, the Ethereum Foundation announced the launch of the “Ethereum Audit Subsidy Program,” in collaboration with multiple auditing and infrastructure organizations, to provide developers with subsidies for security audit fees and improve the overall security of the Ethereum ecosystem. The program is led by EF’s “Trillion Dollar Security Initiative” and is being carried out in partnership with Nethermind, Chainlink Labs, Areta, and others, to assess and review the projects applying for the program. The Ethereum Foundation said that while security audits are considered an industry best practice, they are costly; this initiative is intended to lower the development barrier and support more innovative use cases and projects to be implemented within the Ethereum ecosystem.
