ME News message: On April 14 (UTC+8), the Ethereum Foundation announced on the X platform the launch of the “Ethereum Audit Subsidy Program,” working with multiple auditing and infrastructure organizations to provide security audit fee subsidies for developers, with the aim of improving the overall security of the ecosystem. The program is led by EF’s “Trillion Dollar Security Initiative” and is carried out in partnership with Nethermind, Chainlink Labs, Areta, and others to assess and review applicant projects. The Ethereum Foundation said that although security audits are considered an industry best practice, they are costly—this initiative is intended to lower the development barrier and support more innovative use cases and projects to be implemented in the Ethereum ecosystem.
