Ethereum Foundation sells approximately $47 million worth of ETH to Bitmine within a week
ME News Report, May 2nd (UTC+8), the Ethereum Foundation sold another 10k ETH (approximately $23 million) to Bitmine, adding to the same scale transaction a week earlier, bringing the total sale amount to about $47 million. The foundation stated that the related funds will be used for core operations, including protocol development, ecosystem building, and community funding. Data shows that after completing the acquisition, Bitmine has continued to increase staking, currently staking about 4.19 million ETH (approximately $9.5 billion), accounting for about 83% of its total holdings.
