· An Ethereum ICO whale, inactive for 10.8 years, moved 10,000 ETH worth a total of $22.88 million to a new wallet. The whale had purchased these ETH for only $3,100 during the ICO period and has currently achieved a 7,381% return. Whether a sale will be made is currently unclear.
· An attacker exploited a vulnerability in Hyperbridge's Ethereum gateway contract to mint 1 billion bridged Polkadot tokens and released them into the market for approximately $237,000 worth of ether. While Polkadot's mainnet was unaffected, this event once again highlighted the importance of bridge security.
Technical Outlook: ETH has managed to hold above the $2,300 level, up 2.17% in the last 24 hours. The RSI(14) is at 52.9 — neither overbought nor oversold — signaling horizontal momentum. Short-term support is located around $2,250, while a break above the main resistance point of $2,500 could initiate a stronger uptrend. The pivot point is around $2,325.
