The Ethereum Application Guild was established to promote the application ecosystem and the global developer network.
Ethereum Applications Guild (EAG) has just been launched, with the goal of supporting the Ethereum application ecosystem and promoting the development phase from infrastructure to application layer.
EAG is a global non-profit organization operating along four main directions: promoting practical applications, connecting interdisciplinary ecosystems, building a unified evaluation and development framework, and establishing sustainable funding mechanisms.
This organization adopts a two-branch model: contributing member support based on organizational size, using criteria such as valuation, market capitalization, or AUM; and also donating ETH staking rewards to the ecosystem growth fund.
EAG also announced the 2026 Global Application and Developer Program, which is expected to include developer training activities, hackathons, and research projects. The program also aims to strengthen local developer communities through regional roadshows and ecosystem introduction activities.
