ME News Report, April 24 (UTC+8), according to Yuchen, a hacker who stole approximately $98 million worth of assets from Balancer in November last year has recently started converting some ETH to BTC via the cross-chain protocol THORChain. The hacker has today exchanged 7,000 ETH for 204.7 BTC (about $15.88 million), and the operation is still ongoing. Currently, the hacker still holds 15k ETH (about $34.65 million) on the Ethereum chain and 204.7 BTC (about $15.88 million) on the Bitcoin chain. (Source: PANews)
